Zoom! Whitening’s patented formula involves a high-concentration peroxide gel that also contains fluoride. The peroxide penetrates the enamel and gently removes stains without altering tooth structure. The fluoride helps prevent sensitivity and, as a bonus, protects your teeth against demineralization and decay. Dr. Levenson may use a low-heat lamp in combination with the Zoom! Whitening gel for accelerated results.
Specially-formulated Zoom! Whitening cannot be bought over the counter and must be administered by a dental professional. Dr. Levenson will examine the types of stains and your tooth enamel to determine whether teeth whitening is right for you. In some cases, we recommend combining in-office Zoom! Whitening with take-home teeth whitening. In other cases, the dentist may recommend teeth whitening alternatives, such as porcelain veneers.
